Leaders of color in crisis prevention and intervention, especially women-identified, trans, and non-binary leaders, carry extraordinary responsibility: addressing urgent social issues, guiding teams in high-pressure situations, and navigating complex systems. Yet systemic inequities often limit opportunities for leadership growth and sustainability.

Yet systemic inequities often limit opportunities for leadership growth and sustainability.
The AMSA Empowered Leadership Coaching Program is a 12-week, identity-affirming journey designed for women-identified, trans, and non-binary leaders of color in crisis response. The program offers a supportive environment to build clarity, resilience, and strategic leadership skills, grounded in lived experiences and cultural strengths.
Aligned with AMSA’s mission, this program equips participants to innovate and lead community-centered, non-traditional emergency services that truly reflect and honor the communities they serve.
We have limited spots available, so we encourage you to apply by September 5th if you’re interested.
